One-day seminar on networking
The Canterbury branch of the Computer Society is holding an all-day seminar on networking for microcomputers on Tuesday, October 20. Those taking part will include Mr Derham McAven, of the Christchurch Polytechnic, Mr Warren Marett, De-
loitte, Haskins, and Sells, and Murray Trounson, of Coopers and Lybrand. It is also hoped to have presentations on the CBA accounting system and the Sylk computer-aided manufacturing system as they run under networks. The fee is $75.
