Shelley Robinson, of Shirley Intermediate School, skips for Heart Week in a nationally organised programme to promote health and fitness among school children. Nearly 500 pupils at the school took part in the Jump Rope for Heart project, in preparation for Heart Week which begins on October 5. The children were sponsored for the event and 80 per cent of the money they raised will go to the Heart Foundation. The other 20 per cent will go to the school.
