Exhibition in China
PA Wellington About 5000 people a day are expected to view an exhibiton of New Zealand photographs in China.
The exhibition, called “New Zealand: Images” was commisioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of a continuing cultural exchange between the two countries.
Sixty photographs by eight New Zealand photographers covering such topics as the arts, landscape, industry and lifestyle are featured in the exhibition, the Ministry said.
The project is the first touring exhibition of photographs organised by the Ministry. It will be shown in the main centres of Peking, Wuxi and Guiyang.
Photographers featured are Geoff Mason, John Johns, Ans Westra, Richard Singleton, James Siers, Brian Entlng, Bruce Foster and Michael Kopp.
