Police warn public of stolen airline tickets
PA Auckland The police have warned the public not to buy airline tickets from unauthorised outlets after the burglary of a West Auckland travel firm. Staff who arrived at the Henderson office of West City Travel on Thursday morning discovered a half-tonne floor safe missing. The safe contained 150 international airline tickets and about 400 domestic tickets. The office manager, Mr Ken Simpson, said the tickets were blank, but a ticket validator was in the safe. The burglary was re-
ferred to an International Air Transport Association representative who informed all airlines of the stolen ticket numbers.
