Garden City Rock ’n’ Roll Club members, Lynne Havenaar and Warren McKinlay, demonstrate fifties dancing in the foyer of the Christchurch Youth Centre last evening. The demonstration was part of the “Peppermint Twist” disco, attended by about 120 young people. Ice cream sodas and sundaes were also available in keeping with the fifties theme. Discos are held fortnightly at the centre.
