County of Strathallan REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS KERRS BRIDGE REPLACEMENT THE Strathallan County Council will be inviting tenders for the replacement of Kerrs Bridge. The contracts listed below will be prepared within the next month and work on the bridge is programmed to be completed before the end of February 1988. CONTRACT NO. 28/87 - CONSTRUCTION OF PIERS AND ABUTMENTS To construct four reinforced concrete piers founded on concrete cylinders, drilled into rock, including pier stem and hammerhead. This contract also Includes the construction of reinforced concrete abutments founded on rock. CONTRACT NO. 29/87 - MANUFACTURE AND CARTAGE OF DECK UNITS The manufacture and cartage of ten 182 metre long double hollow core prestressed concrete deck units. CONTRACT NO. 30/87 - CONSTRUCTION OF HANDRAILS AND TIMBER INFILL The construction and fitting of handrails and timber infill to the bridge. Contractors who have the necessary experience and equipment to undertake these contracts are requested to register their intent'with the Council. Contract documents will be sent to the registrants as they become available. Interested contractors should register their name and address with the County Manager, Strathallan County Council, P.O.
