Chch in lodge proposal
Homer Greenless Corporation, the Taurangabased Investment management company, is planning to build a motor lodge chain in New Zealand, including one in Christchurch. The directors said that they had secured four sites — Christchurch, Auckland, and Tauranga — for the Pavillion chain and further sites were under negotiation at other tourist destinations and big cities.
The Christchurch and Tauranga lodges would be floated to investors before Christmas. The company had already successfully floated, and was managing, two lodges in Auckland and Queenstown. The company would not reveal the site of the Christchurch lodge, but details are expected within a fortnight.
