‘Life after death’
PA Auckland Sir Robert Muldoon says the international monetary scene is his immediate target, after his demotion from the Opposition’s Shadow Cabinet. “There is life after death,” he quipped. Later this month, Sir Robert will chair a week-long meeting in
Washington of the Global Economic Action Institute. Countries participating include the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. He said the institute had the politically difficult role Of mobilising support for international co-operation to help the Third World debt problem.
