Presley evening
Elvis Presley will be remembered in Christchurch later this month in an evening marking the tenth anniversary of his death. Proceeds from the August 16 event at the Winter Garden will go to the Association for the Blind and Partially Blind. The evening, to include supper, will cost $lO. Tickets are available from Radio Avon, the Video Station and the Record Room. A 1970 film of a Presley concert in Las Vegas will be show along with footage of him on the “Ed Sullivan Show” in 1956.
