NZPA-Reuter Paris The veteran French jockey, Yves Saint-Martin, says he is planning to retire after a highly successful 30-year career in international racing. The jockey, aged 46, told French television he was planning to end a career that began in 1958 and brought him his three thousandth victory in 1984. Saint-Martin, who has won the coveted French jockeys’ “Cravache d’Or” prize 15 times, has been under contract to the Aga Khan since 1979.
