‘Ngati’ judged best
PA Wellington The New Zealand feature, film, “Ngati,” has won top prize at the Taormina Film Festival in Italy. An international jury’s decision to name “Ngati” best film came within months of winning critical
acclaim at the cinema world’s leading showplace, the Cannes festival in France.
The New Zealand Film' Commission’s distribution , manager, Ms Rhys Dyson, said the success of “Ngati” in Taormina augured well.
