President wants cash for U.N.
NZPA-Reuter Washington President Reagan has asked Congress for an additional SUS79.I million ($NZ132.8 million) to restore United States contributions to the United Nations that were withheld to force the world body to make reforms. In addition, President Reagan’s request seeks SUS2I.7 million to make up for a shortfall in U.S. contributions caused by the decline in the value of the dollar.
