Angus renews notice
PA Wellington Directors of Angus Group, Ltd, have renewed
their “don’t sell” notice, saying that it related to a proposal to acquire all of the capital of the Angus Group parent company, Angus Corp, Ltd. They said the offer was delivered to Angus Corp on Friday, July 17, and was conditional upon consent of Angus Group shareholders to certain resolutions to be put to an
extraordinary general meeting on August 19, at Auckland.
The notice of meeting and a full explanation as to the proposal would be mailed to Angus Group shareholders on July 24. “Until full details of the proposal are received, the directors of Angus Group believe it is in shareholders’ best interests not to sell their shares,” said the statement.
