Rangiora in balance—poll
A Heylen-"Eyewitness” poll of the Rangiora electorate, the results of which were given last evening, showed committed voters evenly divided between the two main parties. The seat is held by Mr Jim Gerard for National. Mr Chris Constable will contest the seat for
Labour at the General Election. The poll was taken among 500 people in the first week in July. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 per cent. The number of “don’t knows” was 14’ per cent Support for the Democratic Party was I per cent with 0 per cent for the New Zealand Party.
