Bankruptcy ‘peak’
PA Wellington The upward trend in the number of bankruptcies appeared to have peaked, said the Minister of Justice, Mr Palmer. New adjudications in the quarter ended June 30
totalled 260, compared with 220 in the corresponding period last year, he said. New compulsory liquidations for the June, 1987, quarter were 119, compared with 102 in the corresponding period.
