Air N.Z. image improvements
Air New Zealand will unveil plans for its improved domestic services at a function at Wellington Airport tomorrow. As said in "The Press” last week, the airline will have its new image up and flying before Ansett New Zealand’s jets take to the air on July 25.
Air New Zealand’s managing director, Mr Norman Geary, will announce the improvements at the opening of the airline’s new domestic arrival and departure area in the
Wellington terminal. In-flight improvements are expected to include a two-class service, meals for passengers, and new uniforms for cabin attendants.
Workmen will today put the finishing touches to the airline’s airbridges at Wellington. The airbridges for both Auckland and Christchurch will be installed next week and should be in use a day or two before Ansett New Zealand takes off.
