Strada to invest $3.45M
PA Wellington Strada Holdings, Ltd, is to invest $3.45 million in two big musical productions overseas. The first will be a $700,000 investment in the West End production of Follies, which will be produced by Cameron Mackintosh, who also produced Cats and the recent broadway hit, Les Miserables. Follies will be directed by Mike Ockrent, West End and Broadway director of the musical, Me and My Girl. A $2.75 million dollar involvement with the United States touring version of Me and My Girl is the second musical secured by Strada. A prospectus for New Zealanders to invest in the Strada Entertainment Trust opened on Monday and will close on July 31.
