Korea
Sir,—l regret that M. T. Moore (July 11) chooses to presume I overlook the price the people of Korea paid during their war. I am not sure today’s problems in Korea have any relationship with the period I, write of, which is 37 years ago. As far as the United Nations is concerned, America is just one country represented there and must, like all other nations, abide by the rules. When it comes to the other figures M. T. Moore quotes, without comparisons with the north there can be no argument. — Yours, etc., CLARRIE HAINES. Canterbury Branch, N.Z. Korea Veterans Association. July 12, 1987.
