Fernz sale
PA Wellington Listed fertiliser and chemical company, Fernz Corp Ltd, has sold the business of NZ Limestone Products, Ltd, in which it held a 32 per cent interest, to McDonalds Lime, Ltd.
As part of this arrangement, McDonalds Lime will increase its capital to enable Fernz to acquire a 20 per cent interest in the restructured company, the company said.
The balance of the equity will be held by NZ Cement Holdings, Ltd, with 52 per cent and NZ Steel, Ltd, with 28 per cent.
