In this documentary Judith Hann goes in pursuit of the myths and realities of such phenomenon as the Big Cat of Surrey and the Beast of Exmoor. MEERKATS UNITED. The Meerkat of the Kalahari Desert is not in fact a cat but a member of the mongoose family. It is a carnivore, munching on grubs, insects, reptiles and mice and is very much a social animal.
