GST direct credit
PA Wellington The Inland Revenue Department can now direct credit refunds of GST to registered persons who have bank accounts with any of the four trading banks. The Commissioner, Mr JoAn Simcok, said the de-
partment’s aim was to provide a speedier refund to customers. In due course, other tax credits might be brought into the system. Those registered for GST who wished to use the facility should contact an Inland Revenue office for details, he said. I
