Manager appointed
PA Auckland Mr John Ridley, an official of the Randwick Racing Club in Sydney, is to become the Ellerslie, racecourse manager. He will take up his post in August, succeeding Mr Gordon McVeigh, who retires soon after 50 years with the Auckland Racing Club.
