Porsche pull out of races
NZPA-AFP Stuttgart Porsche has decided to pull out of this season's remaining endurance sports car races so that they can concentrate on trying to win next year’s Indianapolis 500.
The final race for the almost invincible Porsche 962 s will be next Sunday at Nurburgring where the two cars will be driven by the Le Mans winners, Derek Bell and Hans Stuck, and the all German team of Jochen Mass and Bob Wollek.
But a spokesman for the West German company said that Porsche would be back in endurance racing next season with a brand new car.
