A ; Christchurch tramper who left a tent and personal belongings at a Te Anau camping ground 17 days ago walked out of the bush yesterday. Constable Tim Henderson, of Te Anau, said Mr Hawe came off the Hollyford Track yesterday afternoon.
Constable Henderson said that the police had become worried about the length of time Mr Hawe had been in the bush and the lack of detailed intentions. , .
