A certificate of appreciation was presented to Mr Patrick Linehan (right), the Public Affairs Officer for the United States Information Service, marking that organisation’s contribution to the Keep New Zealand Beautiful campaign. The presentation was made by the executive director of Keep New Zealand Beautiful Inc., Mr Alistair Millar, at the group’s annual meeting yesterday. The U.S.I.S. was responsible for mounting an exhibition illustrating the litter abatement programme in the United States during Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week in October.
