First win
Special correspondent
Dunedin
Louise Cameron, the Wingatui apprentice, rode her first winner when Riwai clearly won the Fiji Maiden at the Otago meeting yesterday. She is apprenticed to the Wingatui trainer, Cliff Reese-Jones, who trains Riwai and the runner-up, Power Station, which did well after a slow start. Riwai is a half-brother to Bernadone, the winner of three races before being sidelined with a leg injury.
Reese-Jones also saddled other winners yesterday in Jazzabelle and No Techie.
