Capital City profit
PA Wellington Capital City Radio, Ltd, owner of Wellington’s Radio Windy, has made a preliminary profit announcement covering the 12 months ended March 31. The company has altered its balance date to June 30 and the final result will reflect 15 months trading. In the period ended March 31 the company made a profit before tax of $1,063,000
($760,000) on turnover of $3,801,000 ($2,987,000). Tax took $524,000 ($356,000) leaving a net profit of $539,000 ($404,000). There were no extraordinary items (nil). Directors said continued improvement was expected. A final dividend will be declared taking into account the extended financial period.
