8.00: FLYING DOCTORS. Cooper’s Crossing makes preparations to unveil a new commemoration plaque on the war memorial. The plaque will honour the men who died in Vietnam. As the celebrations draw close, Chris and Tom discover they hold differing opinions on the matter of the war and its commemoration.
9.00: WORLD CUP RUGBY. Peter Williams hosts this programme which previews the monthlong coverage of this inaugural tournament for the William Webb Ellis Trophy. Television New Zealand’s team of reporters profile the countries involved and also look ahead to tomorrow’s match between New Zealand and Italy which heralds the opening of the tournament. 10.00: DYNASTY. 11.00: BERYL’S LOT.
