French wing injured
The French rugby team will be rueing the vigour they put into their training yesterday. During the training the elegant wing, Eric Bonneval, suffered a leg injury in a tackle and was last night withdrawn from the team to play Scotland at Lancaster Park/nn Saturday.
Fortunately for the French they are blessed with fast and elusive backs and Bonneval’s place in the XV for the match will be taken by another wing of repute, Patrick Esteve. Esteve comes into the playing XV over the named reserves. 7
