Strong Cooper gas finds by Delhi Pet.
NZPA-AAP Sydney One of Australia’s leading gas producers, Delhi Petroleum Pty, Ltd, has announced strong gas flows from two new fields in the gas and liquid rich Cooper Basin. Delhi said in a statement that it has discovered strong gas flows from the Mawson No. 1 and Dingera No. 1 ex-
ploration wells. The Mawson well was also producing a large condensate flow. Mawson No. 1, in the South Australian part of the Basin, flowed gas at a daily rate of 167,070 million cubic metres from the upper Patchawarra formation and 28,600 cubic metres of gas a day from a deeper part of the same formation.
