Westburn School, Christchurch: Twenty-fifth anniversary, October 23, 24 and 25, 1987. A reunion will be held for the descendants of Joseph and Harriet James, who arrived at Lyttelton in the ship Hereford on January 9, 1878. They settled at Rangiora and had a family of eight children. The reunion will be held at Rangiora during the week-end of January 9, 1988. A family tree is being prepared and it is hoped that a family history will be written. Kapuni district and schools: Centenary, Anzac Day week-end, April 22 to 24, 1988. Enrolments are now being recorded and further information can be obtained by writing to the general secretary,, care of Post Office, Kapuni. Photographs on loan and other informtion are sought for a book recording the first 100. years in the district and should be sent to the above address. Kairanga School and district: Centennial celebrations will be held during Anzac-week-end, April 22 to 25, 1988. A history of the school and district will be published and the centennial committe would like items for background material for inclusion in the book. Written, photographic or spoken material is sought, both family and community. The committee would also like suggestions regarding sources of information, or persons to contact.
