t, HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL CONTRACT NO. 745 LEASE OF MUSEUM RESTAURANT SEALED APPLICATIONS are Invited’for the operating of a Licensed Restaurant inside the new Waikato Museum of Art and History at Grantham Street, Hamilton. The contract with the owner/operator entails the provision of light refreshments, lunches, and dinners for patrons of the Museum and the casual public. Town planning consent for this operation allows for this operation to be a Licensed Restaurant with the hours being limited to 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week. The estimated number of seats in this restaurant is 100 with 78 being in the closed-in section of the restaurant and 22 on an extended terrace which provides an excellent panoramic view of the Waikato River. The lease term is for a 10 year period with rent reviews every two years. The contract will commence from October 1, 1987. The successful applicant will be allowed a minimum of two months to set up the operation prior to the Museum's opening, which is scheduled for early October.
