Bridal couple still single
By ROBIN CHARTERIS in London A couple kept a big secret from guests at their wedding reception in Harwich — they weren’t married. The bride, Terri Cop'penaal, aged 22 and her fiance, Derek Palls, aged 28, found their registry) office wedding called off because they had forgotten to pay the £lO ($29) fee. So instead of getting married they went off for a champagne breakfast together then covered themselves in confetti and went to the reception. “We didn’t want to spoil things for the guests;” said Ms Coppenaal. Four days after the reception the couple were married in private. .'
