NZPA staff correspondent Sydney The outstanding New Zealand galloper, Etoile d’Or, has been scratched | from the sAustloo,ooo i Queensland Oaks (2400 m at Eagle Farm on Saturday, trainer Davey Jones said yesterday. The filly was among New Zealand horses which finally arrived in Brisbane on Monday night, 54 hours after their departure from Auckland on Saturday. Etoile d’Or appeared to knock a tendon during the trip, causing Jones some concern.
