IB] SOUTH ISLAND REGIONAL ACCOUNTANT New Position Christchurch PEPSI-COLA BOTTLERS NEW ZEALAND LIMITED, an autonomous division of Dominion Breweries Limited, is the New Zealand franchise holder for the internationally successful PEPSI-COLA brand and associated range of beverages. As part of the introduction of the brand we have been asked to assist in the appointment of a South Island Regional Accountant. Reporting to the Regional Manager the appointee will be responsible for the implementation and development of accounting systems for the South Island activities. Specific duties will include: • regular financial reporting, incorporating annual accounting balance, and monthly financial and management reports. • introducing the Hewlett Packard Micro 3000 computer system and supporting manual systems. • recruitment, training and management of accounting staff. It is anticipated that the appointee will become progressively involved in all aspects of the business as an integral part of the management team. Applicants should possess, or have nearly completed formal qualifications (ACA or BComm) and have had a minimum of three years commercial experience encompassing financial and management accounting, together with a personable nature and leadership qualities. Preferred age range 25-35 years. This is an excellent opportunity to play a part in the success of a new business venture in New Zealand.
