Comalco, Ltd, managing director, Mr Mark Rayner,
has been named as the new president of the Australian Mining Industry Council. Mr Rayner, formerly the council’s senior vice-president, replaces MIM Holdings, Ltd, chairman, Sir Bruce Watson, as president. The new senior vice-president is Utah Development Co., Ltd, managing director, Mr Gavin McDonald. Peko-Wallsend, Ltd, chief executive, Mr Charles Copeman, was named as vice-president
