Kate and Allie, friends since school days and both now divorced parents, continue to share a New York City apartment into which they have merged their two separate households. 9.00: TAGGART — KNIFE EDGE. Detective Chief Inspector Jim Taggart and Detective Sergeant Peter Livingstone work together on a new murder case. The third leg turns out to be a hoax — a “plant” by a pair of medical students. As is to be expected, Taggart does not conceal his anger. But the human head that is seen going into the incinerator at the rubbish depot is far from being a hoax. 10.00: CATS EYES. (Final). Blue For Danger: When Mrs Driscoll asks the “Eyes” operatives to follow her husband, it seems a perfectly straightforward assignment. But it turns out to be the most perilous case they have ever handled, leading Maggie 1 into deep waters. 11.00: SECRET ARMY. (R) A drama series about the ordinary people of the occupied countries — Holland, Belgium and France — who assisted Allied airmen to evade the German forces and make their way back to Britain to fight again. 11.55: CLOSEDOWN.
