World Cud test caps
NZPA-Reuter London England and Scotland have decided to award international caps for each match they play in this month’s inaugural rugby World Cup. The English union president, Alan Grimsdell, and his Scottish counterpart, Doug Smith, said they had decided to
follow the majority of the 16 other countries at the tournament in New Zealand and Australia and award invididual caps. England had originally argued that a special World Cup cap was sufficient, but after talks with the players and selectors it was agreed to award individual caps as well, Mr Grimsdell said.
