Illegal trading
PA Wellington One Auckland and two Wellington firms may be prosecuted for illegally trading on Anzac DayLabour Department inspectors discovered two stores in the Wellington region breaching the Shop Trading Hours Act on Anzac Day, said a senior factory inspector, Mr Kerry Gordon. He said he was waiting for a report from the inspectors concerned before deciding whether to prosecute the stores. Each breach of the act could be punished by a maximum fine of $lOOO.
