Shops to be closed
Nonpal Saturday shopping will not be available this week-end because of Anzac Day observances. Supermarkets which would normally open for Saturday trading will be closed. A spokesman for the Labour Department said the' only shops which qualified to trade on Anzac Day were dairies, fruit and vegetable stores, fish and bread dealers, and takeaway outlets. The department said any other retailer flouting the law by opening risked prosecution.
