Obituary Mr F. Grayburn
Geraldine reporter Mr Fred Grayburn, who served at Gallipoli in World War I, died in Tokoroa Hospital this week. He was 93. He was a long-time Geraldine and South Canterbury resident, and for 10 years from 1945 was curator-ranger of the South Canterbury Acclimatisation Society. Mr Graybum was
secretary-treasurer of the Geraldine Gun Club for 10 years. His interests " included Geraldine Players, the Geraldine District High School Committee, on which he served as chairman in 1944, and the Geraldine R.S.A. branch executive on which, he served for 23 eluding eight as secretary and a term as chairman. He is survived bytour sons and two daughters.
