Moroccan wall
Morocco has completed a sixth defence wall intended to cut access by Polisario guerrillas to the Atlantic coast General Abdelaziz Bennani said the last section of the 550 km rock and sand wall, which took two months to build, contained an area of 65,0005 q km. The Polisario Front based in Algeria, has been fighting Morocco for control of the Western Sahara since 1975, when Morocco annexed the territory which the guerrillas claim as an independent country. — Rabat.
