Sounds Like Fun due for win

Special correspondent Auckland Sounds Like Fun, one of several good staying fillies this season, has the chance of another win at the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting at Ellerslie today. , A model of consistency, Sounds Like Fun finished second, third or fourth in each of her last four starts, securing her second placing behind Starline in the New Zealand Oaks. Today she takes on the restricted-class Montana Handicap and on the testing

inside track should stay the 2100 m too well for her oppdnents, even though having to carry top weight of 57kg. The Montana Handicap will be the second leg of the T.A.B. double. The first leg should be started off by Fancy Miss, A Takanini filly which is. showing much more than ordinary promise.

Fancy Miss managed two impressive wins and except for a rough passage would have completed a hat-trick last time, at Te Aroha.
