CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TUTOR IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING Applications are invited from those with several . years’ experience in computer engineering and an appropriate background to teach, mainly in cooperation with existing staff, the full-time 2-year Diploma in Computer Engineering course. An indepth knowledge of mainframe CPU and peripherals hardware is required, together with expertise in one or more of the following: data communications, diagnostic methods, mainframe operating systems. This position offers a challenging but rewarding career opportunity in tertiary teaching in excellent working conditions, where speciality interests may be developed. Training in modern teaching methods is given. As well as contributing to established courses, the appointee could contribute to an expanding range of seminars to meet, our clients’ needs. Teaching staff are entitled to 12 weeks annual leave, and other staff benefits including refresher, leave. The salary offered is in the range $34,260$39,560 according to qualifications and experience. A higher salary may be available to a particularly well qualified applicant.
