Sports pavilion
The idea behind the Trac-tion-Engine Rally and the Vintage Country Fair at Springston this week-end, is to raise enough money to finish the extensions to the sports pavilion at the Springston Domain. “Over the past three years a building committee representing all sports clubs and the Recreation Reserves Committee has worked very hard in planning, financing, and build-
ing the extensions to the Springston sports pavilion,” says Mr I. G Robertson, the chairman of the Springston Recreation Reserve Building Committee. “When the extensions are finished, the pavilion will be a trmendous asset not only to the sports men and women of the district, but also to the community as a whole,” he says.
