Levy reason demanded
PA Wellington Meat companies are demanding that the Accident Compensation Corporation explain a 352 per cent rise in levies. The executive director of the Meat Industry Association, Mr Peter Blomfield, said yesterday the association had sent a registered letter to the corporation offering to pay for obtaining the relevant figures. Previous attempts to obtain the information had been fruitless.
