New Kiwi bonds
The current issue of Kiwi bonds will be replaced by a new issue opening on March 20, the Minister of Finance, Mr Douglas, has announced. The rates on the new issue will be 18.5 per cent on the two year and 17.5 per cent on the four year maturity. The current issue of Kiwi bonds will close on March 19. The new bond series was prompted by the recent increase in wholesale market yields.
