The Manager will monitor the progress of individual vines in blocks and be involved in setting production standards, as well as budgeting and crop forecasting. Additional responsibilities would include participation with external research and development experts to ensure that Tasman employs optimum production technology and techniques at all times. The position requires a person who has an Intimate ■ knowledge of kiwifruit and a scientific or research background to enable them to evaluate diverse technical information and to ensure the collection of sound research data.
