The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of a complex which will be open seven days a week. In addition to a specialist tourist attraction, there will be a substantial souvenir shop and a 230-seat restaurant which, while designed to cater for the medium to fast food requirements of tourists and the travelling public, will also have an emphasis on freshness and health. The centre also has the facilities for catering for small conferences and will be used for private functions in the evenings. Our client is seeking a person with a proven background in tourist related and/or food and beverage activities who is happy to live out of the main cities but in a pleasant part of New Zealand.
