Museum budget share
Christchurch City Council’s share of the Canterbury Museum budget is about $560,000. The l museum wants $1,122,000 from the city’s local authorities, an increase of 19.74 per cent on the previous year. On the traditional levying of councils, the City Council
would pay $560,457. . Extra items covered In the 1987-88 budget are $6OOO for storage and library alterations, and $13,000 for Te Maori. Losses of income include $28,000 from loss of wk scheme subsidies and a $14),000 reduction in interest
